So spoke Trump regarding Russia’s aerial attack on Kiev on 24th May.

Deranged though he is, occasionally the American President accidentally hits somewhere near the truth.

He is upset that Putin is hampering his path to speedy settlement of the Ukraine war, which he claimed to be able to do within hours of re-entering the White House. He remains desperately hopeful of being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Denied the Papacy, although the best candidate, at least he should be made a Nobel Laureate.

Trump had a conversation with Putin before resuming the presidency, in which he offered great chunks of Ukrainian territory in exchange for peace.

Since then Putin has run rings round him. Not that Putin is an example of great intellect. He thought he could be Peter the Great, Catherine the Great and Stalin all rolled into one, defeating Ukraine within days. Instead, he has sent thousands of Russians to their deaths, severely damaged the economy
