No sooner is Syria relieved of the dictator Assad, than Israel is stealing territory –  expanding its grip on the Golan plateau, first occupied during the 1967 six-day  war – destroying the Syrian navy and air force and regardless of any danger of toxic pollution, bombarding sites claimed to be chemical weapons facilities.

This large-scale military offensive will be claimed as self-defence by the Israeli government and its obsequious allies, or in the Orwellian double-think language of Israel, it is “pre-emptive defence”.

While the rest of the world adopts a policy of non-interference, wanting to see Syria maintain its territorial integrity and waits to see if rational forces will emerge and steer the country to non-sectarian democratic government, the criminal clowns who run Israel take advantage of Syria’s vulnerability and risk returning the country to chaos and anarchy.

Israel’s new war front on Syria entailed no let-up in the genocidal assault on the Palestinians of Gaza and the West Bank.

Gazan Palestinians are forcibly displaced, trapped in makeshift camps and bombarded, old people, women and children being most of the casualties.

Israeli forces have blocked, denied and delayed humanitarian supplies and consistently lied about what is beingdone in plain sight. Israel is engaged in rampant ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank.

Israel aims to wipe out all Palestinians in order to create Netanyahu’s Greater Israel, the vision he announced at the November 2024 UN General Assembly.

And while these war crimes and crimes against humanity are committed, the USA and our own government stand idly by, their inaction giving succour to the criminals, just as when the Nazis were operating their death camps.

We are witnessing another Holocaust. In this re-run of history the Nazi regime is replaced by the government of the Jewish homeland. Could there be any greater irony?

Starmer’s slipshod, inept government should immediately stop all armament supplies to Israel.

 

 

By now, Israel’s forgiveness credit has run dry. In the post-war years, in atonement for the Holocaust, Israel enjoyed the unlimited patience and support of the world. By its murderous treatment of the Palestinians, who were innocent of any involvement in the 1939-1945 Holocaust, Israel has now nullified the need for any further atonement.
