The murderous horrors inflicted on the Jews of Europe by the Nazis are now being suffered by the Muslims of Gaza at the hands of the Israeli military.

The Holocaust used concentration camps, murder squads, gas chambers and starvation. The Muslims of Palestine are confined to the Gaza Strip and other enclaves. They suffer bombardment by one of the best equipped armies in the world and the Gazans are suffering a starvation siege.

Keir Starmer said the Israelis have the right to deny the Gazan population food, water, fuel and medicines, although most of them are not Hamas activists and had nothing to do with the killings and hostage-taking on 6^th and 7^th October. Gaza is suffering collective punishment, which Starmer knows to be a war crime under the Geneva Conventions.

Since 7^th October, 10,000 Palestinians have been killed, at least one-third of them children. 

The 2.3 million  people of Gaza are suffering saturation bombing, which is ostensibly aimed at destroying Hamas and is, in fact,  systematically obliterating the infrastructure, the housing and the civilian population.

In the 2014 Israel-Gaza conflict, over 2,000 Palestinians were killed and 100,000 were left homeless. Every such conflict creates yet more mutual hatred.

Netanyahu follows the biblical prescription of an eye for an eye. Well his army has now killed Palestinians  equivalent to ten times the number of Israelis killed in early October. That is not enough for him.

The size of the Palestinian death toll has been questioned, but the proof is in the collection from the corpses of the green identity cards Gazans are required to carry  by the Israeli government. The actual death toll is bound to be more than 10,000 because so many bodies remain buried in the rubble and cannot be recovered for lack of machinery and the fuel to power it.

The Israeli military told the inhabitants of northern Gaza to move to the south of the strip for their own safety and promptly started bombarding the south.

Israel’s objective is clear: ethnic cleansing of the Strip and once all Palestinians have left Gaza, it will be settled by Jews.

The last thing the Israeli government wants is a ceasefire; there is much yet to do in clearing  Gaza of all Palestinians.

The UN Security Council should be leading the call for a ceasefire and convening peace negotiations, but its members are too paralysed  by competing self-interest to show any compassion for the suffering people of Gaza.

And the British government, which has historic responsibility for the creation of the Israel/Palestine problem, together with the Labour Party  feebly follows the line of the Israeli government.

On 1^st November, the Israeli ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, claimed ”There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza.” She added that “Israel is working to make sure all Palestinian civilians will be safe.”

On the other hand, “Israel could kill as many as 600,000 civilians in Gaza.” She pointed out that between 1939 and 1945 the RAFbombed Hamburg, Dresden and other cities, killing over 600,000 German civilians .

“Was it worth it to defeat Nazi Germany? Yes.”

Israel’s Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant, declared that, “Palestinians are human animals.”

Such racist hate-speech passes as normal in Netanyahu’s government,

The Israeli ambassador was for a long time the leader of the heavily armed West Bank settler movement, which is intent on snatching the whole of the West Bank, evicting Palestinians from their enclaves and taking over territories extending into Jordan and Syria.

The West Bank settlers are a particularly vicious bunch of gangsters.  They have turned the West bank of the River Jordan into a new version  of the 19^th century American Wild West, the Palestinians being the equivalents of the native Americans, nonentities who can legitimately be wiped out.   Armed gangs of Jews destroy Palestinian property and shoot anyone who stands in their way.   

I have suggested in earlier blogs that leading figures in the Labour Opposition are excessively influenced by the Israeli Embassy and Jewish lobbyists.

The truth of the matter is that I was naively underestimating this malign influence,

THE LABOUR SHADOW CABINET ARE UP TO THEIR NECKS IN CORRUPT RELATIONSHIPS WITH WEALTHY PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT ISRAEL RIGHT OR WRONG. HENCE THE DISINCLINATION OF STARMER AND HIS COLLEAGUES TO SAY ANYTHING OF WHICH THE NETANYAHU GOVERNMENT WOULD DISAPPROVE.

13 OUT OF 31 MEMBERS OF STARMER’S SHADOW CABINET HAVE RECEIVED DONATIONS FROM PRO-ISRAEL LOBBY GROUPS OR INDIVIDUAL FUNDERS.

Starmer and colleagues are in hock to the Israeli Embassy, lobbying organizations or rich individuals who can afford to splash the cash in support of Israel’s policies. 

Small wonder they loyally toe the Netanyahu line on all Israel/Palestine matters.

The British government and Labour leadership pay no attention to the massive peace demonstrations of recent weeks and will have no ear for their constituents’ views. They have been bought by the apologists of the Israeli government.  I call that corruption.

A recent YouGov poll showed that three out of four people in Britain want a ceasefire, with only 8 per cent against. Well, the Labour party is not swayed by the British people, because it owes a debt to its paymasters.

Does Starmer see the same BBC news broadcasts as me? Is he not moved by the destruction, the corpses, the maimed children? Or has he had his capacity for empathy amputated?

It cannot be without significance that among Starmer’s closest advisers are the abominable oleaginous Peter Mandelson and Tony Blair.

You could not make it up, because nobody would believe it, that Tony Blair was the Quartet Nations’ (USA, Russia, UK and EU) special envoy to the Middle East. Blair, after conniving with Bush to invade Iraq and Afghanistan and set the Middle East on fire was totally discredited by the Chilcot inquiry. He now has a round-the-clock protection detail and has to be careful to avoid travelling to certain countries that might arrest him and arraign him before the International criminal court.
