Which of these are we in the UK?

Doris Johnson is akin to the demagoguery of Trump. Just like millions of Americans, who voted for Trump, millions of Brits voted for a right-wing populist liar and buffoon.

Before the 2019 General Election, Doris’s  misogyny, cronyism, perfidy, his posh-boy assumption of entitlement as if by divine right were all known to anybody able to read, but still the bloody fools, in their millions, voted Tory, knowing it would make him Prime minister. They now have what they wanted. Is this what the sacked miners wanted?

Is this what the homeless wanted? Is this really what they all wanted north of the ‘red wall’?

During his government’s chaotic handling of the pandemic, which has resulted in ten of thousands of avoidable deaths he has survived by telling a stream of lies. Then, saving h is bacon, came the development of vaccines. He enjoyed a poll bounce from that as if he was the one responsible for the vaccines. Then he is scheduled to produce yet another child (the 2-child benefit limit being meaningless for him) which will give him another poll bounce among the idiotic tranche of the electorate

He has so far survived the disgustingly paltry pay offer to NHS staff. He has survived the scandalous squandering of money on Useless PPE purchases and the billions handed out to Tory Party donors and other cronies.

There is much talk of the £trillion  cost of the pandemic to the tax-payer, but too little talk of the billions made from the pandemic by the kleptocrats in the government and among their ultra-rich mates.

For a mere quarter-million donation to Tory Central Office you can periodically have dinner with Doris and the Chancellor. Why would you do that? It would be to lobby for the policies that will help line your pockets yet further.

So let me answer my own question: where would I place the UK government?

I will put us mid-way between a kleptocracy  ─ a state run by politicians who embezzle or misappropriate state funds for personal gain ─ and an idiocracy, meaning a state ruled by incompetent and idiotic people.
